Question #1: What do I do if I have an emergency?
Answer: Because we operate just like a doctor's office in your own home - with office hours Mon.-through-Fri. between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. - we cannot provide emergency services. If you believe that you have an emergency situation, it is important that you contact 911 immediately.
Question #2: What insurance does Mobile Doctors accept?
Answer: Mobile Doctors accepts traditional Medicare Part B, various Medicare Advantage Plans, and many other insurances.
Question #3: How soon can I see the doctor?
Answer: Upon verification of the insurance our doctors typically see the patient within 24-48 hours.
Question #4: Do house calls cost more than a regular office visit?
Answer: Mobile Doctors charges only what is allowed by Medicare and we accept Medicare’s assignment.
Question #5: What do I do if I need labs, X-rays, or other diagnostic tests?
Answer: Most diagnostic tests can be performed in the comfort of your own home.
Question #6: What hospitals am I allowed to select?
Answer: You are not required to go to any specific hospital. The doctor can assist with your admission to the hospital of your choice.
Question #7: Who takes care of me while I am in the hospital?
Answer: Your Mobile Doctor will refer you to a hospital specialist if you are admitted to the hospital. The hospitalist and your Mobile Doctor will communicate while you are admitted and Mobile Doctors will resume your care once you are discharged from the hospital.
