Utilizing a Mobile Doctors® physician improves a patient’s health and quality of life. A Mobile Doctors® physician has a personal relationship with the patient and their caregiver and understands the environmental factors that might have a bearing on a patient’s health and well-being. Mobile Doctors™ also work to make adult and senior home care affordable by educating patients and reducing emergency room visits and hospitalizations.

Expertise

Mobile Doctors® was founded in 1996 with the sole purpose of serving patients in their residences. We have remained dedicated to that mission despite many changes in the industry and our company.

Our experience and focus has enabled us to develop the expertise needed to manage complex issues. We have relationships with vendors for testing, durable medical equipment, and skilled nursing to provide virtually everything needed for effective senior and adult physician home care. In recent years, we have accelerated our investments in both people and technology to broaden our service area and improve patient care.

Treatment Plans & Compliance

Mobile Doctors® first assesses a patient’s home environment, medical conditions, and chief complaints. Based on this assessment, we develop at home treatment plans to help improve a patient’s health and stability.

One of the biggest challenges for seniors is taking the right prescriptions, dosages, and frequency, especially since they often receive prescriptions over time from several different physicians.

Our doctors go through all the medications and determine the ones that best fit the current conditions. If additional skilled nursing, tests, or medical equipment is required, we write prescriptions and sign approvals.

Another challenge for patients and caregivers is compliance to follow-up treatment plans and appointments. We recommend follow-up appointments based on a patient’s unique condition and perform both scheduling and follow up to ensure compliance. We’ve found that patients have better compliance to at home treatment plans that can be modified quickly if conditions change.

Peace of Mind

Making a trip to the Emergency Room, hospital or physicians office is stressful enough for healthy individuals, let alone seniors with multiple chronic conditions. Appointments often require a family member or caregiver to take off work, and pose a potential injury risk. Follow-up scheduling can also be an issue as many primary care offices are very busy.

As a result of these challenges, patients and family members often wait for serious events to occur before seeking care.

Having quality care in the safety and comfort of home eases this stress. Our ability to conduct tests and follow-ups at home saves the back and forth trips and coordinating appointments. If physician specialists or office-based tests are required, our staff helps to make the referrals and schedule appointments.
